Pregnant Woman Missing Since Thanksgiving Has Been Found Dead

When somebody goes missing, the family automatically begins worrying about their welfare. At times, the news story may make the headlines and people around the world become concerned about the welfare of the individual. That was the case for a young pregnant mother named Amethyst J Killian. She was only 22 years old when she went missing from St. Peters, Missouri. The missing person report came in on Thanksgiving and the family was devastated. She had only been missing for a few hours, however, before her body was found in a residential block of her hometown.

Killian’s mother talked to a local news station, saying that it was around 1 AM when they last saw their daughter as she was walking to a nearby gas station. Unfortunately, she never returned home but some of her belongings were later found near a park by relatives. They called the police, and the police were able to find the body but it wasn’t good news. The news reported that they seem like a very close family and that Killian was obviously a great mother. It’s always sad when something like this happens but it is especially sad for those who are left behind.

A fundraiser was set up by a cousin to help the family deal with the devastating loss that they were experiencing. Not only was she a mother, she was also five months pregnant at the time. Killian’s mother is not able to afford a funeral and she wanted help to raise the children. That is what the fundraiser was set up for, to help Marley, her six-year-old daughter and Hendrix, the 11 month old son.

There are no words that can truly convey how difficult this is for a family. We only hope that they are able to deal with the situation in the best way possible and get some comfort from the grief they are experiencing.
