Many people who have never had a cat in their life may think of them as being rather ordinary but once you get to know a cat, you realize that they have quite a personality. Each of them will act differently around their human counterparts or around strangers if they have the opportunity to interact with them. At times, they may even give you a surprise or two.
That was the case with Willow, a cat that lived in a small neighborhood and had something very special to share. Willow was a friendly cat and her neighbors absolutely loved having her around. She was also a cat that enjoyed bringing gifts to others and she often carried a pink flower with her to visit the neighbors and leave as a gift.
Willow lives in the UK and has been visiting her neighbors almost every day since they moved into the area. “We live on a street of terraced houses that backs onto another street of terraced houses with a kind of garden corridor between,” Rosie said.
“Willow rules over about six of the gardens, and I’m pretty sure she gets fed by everyone because she’s very difficult to say no to.”
It wasn’t long after Rosie moved into the neighborhood that she found the cat sleeping in the hallway as if she owned the place. Willow would constantly meow until they opened the glass doors and let her in to take her cat nap.
Some of the neighbors would keep cat treats or cardboard boxes out for Willow. She just loved playing and the attention that she gets from the neighbors.
Since spring started, Rosie has been finding pink flowers on her porch that came from the garden. She thought that the wind was blowing them but that she saw Willow carrying a flower in her mouth.
“I’d never seen her with then before, but for the past few weeks now there’s been a new little flower on the deck every couple of days,” Rosie said.
The flowers continued to accumulate as the days went by.
“For a while, It was just a legend that it was her until yesterday when I was cooking and spotted her jumping down with a pink flower in her mouth,” Rosie told Love Meow.
“I was so excited that I went to film it because she’s so cute and I’d never seen a cat ever bring back anything but dead animals before.”
“She clearly likes us because she steals flowers from (her owners) and leaves them on our deck. It was at least ten flowers before we realized it was her.”

Willow has been back to visit Rosie almost every day since she moved in. She walks in like she owns the place.
Every day she comes to visit the neighbors and she loves her human friends.
They keep cardboard boxes out for her to sleep and provide her with plenty of food and treats.
She will often hop up on the neighbor’s couch and claim it as her own.
