Although the summer weather is probably a favorite of most people, there are also a lot of reasons why you would look forward to the winter as well. The freshly fallen snow is perhaps one of the favorite parts of winter because you can do so much in it. Granted, it’s cold outside but when you get out to go sledding or to build a snowman, it just seems as if the hours fly by. Before you know it, you’re ready to come in for a nice cup of hot chocolate.
Building a snowman is perhaps one of the most enjoyable activities you can do in the winter time. You can build them to your specific requirements, using buttons for eyes and a carrot for a nose. It’s an experience that everybody should have at least once in their lifetime and many children do it at every opportunity they have. Unfortunately, there was a deer nearby that was a little bit too curious and in the end, the snowman ended up paying the price.
Many outdoor enthusiasts will be quick to point out that deer absolutely love vegetables. Farmers would also say the same thing then they need to protect their vegetable gardens from Whitetail.
As an important part of a deer’s diet, fresh vegetables are always going to be on the dinner menu when they are available. The problem is, you don’t really have access to them in the middle of the winter. That is when this deer spots something that is a little tasty or perhaps she just smelled it when she was nearby.
The mother watches in amazement as the deer approaches the snowman very carefully. Before long, she takes a bite out of the snow but it wasn’t quite what she was after.
When she looks up, she notices that there are a lot of carrots on top of the snowman’s head. This is exactly what she wanted. She clears off the carrots and then moves back a little to look at the snowman closely.
What happens next is totally unexpected. The deer actually starts eating the snowman himself!
