Have you ever met somebody that just likes to stand out from everybody else around them? Some people just can’t get enough of the limelight and they may even have a natural talent that allows them to do so quite easily. Most of us can probably envision somebody like this in our lives but have you ever thought that it might just be the family dog? For one family in Russia, it is an adorable husky puppy that steals the show.
The other puppies in the litter may be sound asleep but this pup just seems to want to cry out for attention. Not only does he cry, he actually does it in a way that makes him sound like a Wookiee, right off of Star Wars! Perhaps he idolizes Chewbacca and wants to grow up to be just like him. Regardless of the reason, it is absolutely adorable.
Wookies are a lot stronger than their human counterparts. They are also a lot taller and hairier. Something that you may not know is that Chewbacca was actually based on a dog, so this isn’t very far of a stretch. It was Indiana, the Alaskan malamute that belonged to George Lucas.
This husky may not be an Alaskan malamute, but he is fairly close. He sounds so much like Chewbacca when he howls that it is going to put a smile on your face. Who knows, perhaps he has a life of show business in front of him?
“When boredom sets in for your Husky, it can cause him/her to start howling,” according to Husky Problems. “Also, when a Husky starts howling, this means that he/she’s missing attention and/or interaction with the owner.”
There may be other reasons why this husky howls as well.
“First of all, this is the way that Huskies communicate with each other in the wild. With your Husky being domesticated, you’ve no need to see packs of Huskies running wild near your home and will keep from seeing the pack communicating with your Husky,” the website states. “Still, the howling actions haven’t left your Husky.
Another reason why a Husky starts howling is because of alarms or sirens that go off in the middle of the night. The main way you can tell that the Howling is abnormal is if he/she keeps it up after the siren stops sounding off.”
It doesn’t matter why he sounds like Chewbacca, it seems as if people can’t get enough of him. Since being uploaded, the video has been viewed hundreds of thousands of times.
