Woman Manages To Befriend Tiny Hummingbird in Her Backyard

Have you ever secretly wished you could be a Disney princess, like Snow White? If only we could have their seemingly innate connection to wild animals, right? Well, for Justine Maresca, that wish came true when one adorable little hummingbird decided to drop by her feeder and suddenly figured that her finger was a better perch than the feeder’s plastic ring.

Throughout her video, Maresca verbally encourages the little bird to fly away, but it seems perfectly content hanging out and letting her pet it.

“He stayed for a long time and I wasn’t sure if he was scared so I was trying to encourage him to fly away,” Maresca wrote in the video description.

If you have really good eyesight, you can see the bird checking back in on them around the 1:03 mark.
