‘The Prayer’ Gets A Perfect Cover In This Live Performance By Jackie Evancho and Fernando Varela

Music is something that affects all of us in some way or another. In fact, it begins to affect is when we are even younger than we can walk. Just watch a baby when music comes on and you will begin to see them move to it. Nobody needs to teach them how to do it, it’s just something that they do on their own. Of course, as we get older, our taste in music may change but the fact that it has an effect on us does not change. Our reaction to it may also be different, but there is always going to be one particular song that gives us goosebumps.

For some people, the song that provides goosebumps in great measure is The Prayer. Not only is it something that we love because it was originally done by Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion, it has been copied by many people over the years. This would include many people who are very talented but relatively unknown and others who are famous. 2 of the singers who recently got together to perform the song are Jackie Evancho and Fernando Varela. They are both talented in their own way.

Valero was part of the Forte Tenors that we saw on America’s Got Talent. He had a lot of talent to provide, and he continues to sing down to this day. Evancho was also somebody who originally performed on America’s Got Talent and she was only 10 years old when she released her first album. Since that time, she has gone multiplatinum.

A PBS special was hosted in 2017 when Fernando Varela held a concert. He wanted to have a duet with somebody who would work with his voice nicely. Evancho was 16 years old at the time and he decided to invite her. That is when they sang The Prayer, and it’s something that you need to hear for yourself. It’s available in the following video:
