The human body is truly amazing but the mind is something that we really don’t understand. It has the ability to do so many things, providing us with the ability to think and reason but there are also times when it might trick us. We see this in optical illusions but we also see it in our strange ability to see familiar objects where they actually don’t exist. This phenomenon, known as pareidolia, may not get a lot of press but it happens often.
When was the last time you looked at an object and thought it looked like a face? This is something that all of us do but oddly enough, sometimes it actually does look like a face. It can be quite funny when you allow your mind to view objects in this way and we have some examples below that are going to blow your mind.
1. This car does not approve
It looks like this car is looking sideways at you, giving a little sass in the process.
2. Nature is laughing
Yes, we know it is a rock but it looks a lot like a cartoon character.
3. The mixer is seeing something strange
It may be a kitchen mixer but the expression on its face shows you that it doesn’t like what it is seeing in the bowl.
4. The plant with a face
This one is just a little scary. The plant looks like it is staring out the window and judging everything you are doing.
5. The cat
If you saw this after putting makeup on a sponge would you stop to take a picture? Yeah, we all would
6. Is it a cat or a dog?
The cloud looks like a dog jumping over a house… or is it a cat?
7. Pasta Cookie Monster
It looks like the pasta is trying to communicate with you. It would be hard to enjoy the meal after this one.
8. Shark or devil?
At first, it looks like an upside-down shark but then again, it could be a devil laughing at you.
9. The face of a man
We know it is bacon but that looks an awful lot like a face.
10. The KKK at the beach
I guess even racists need to take some time at the beach to relax. Yeah, it is just some closed parasols but it would make you do a double-take.
11. Happy to see you
Beer can make you happy but this beer looks like it is smiling back
12. Dolphins speak
This backpack looks just like a cute little dolphin smiling at you.

This shadow looks like an evil smile.
14. It’s the gingerbread man
Looks like the gingerbread man is paying for his sins
15. Frosty
The frost looks very spooky.
16. Happy neck
Looks like this guy’s neck is having a great day.
17. The cat is out of the bag
Or is the cat actually the bag? We just can’t keep these things straight
18. Dog rock
I don’t care what you say, this rock looks just like a dog. Nature has a way of making us look at things strangely, doesn’t it?
19. Angry breakfast
I don’t think these eggs wanted to be cooked. Imagine seeing this looking up at you from the frying pan.
