Anti-Vaxx Mom Reaches Out For Help With Unvaccinated 3-Year-Old From Measles – The Internet Delivers

There are always going to be subjects that seem to get people talking. In some cases, the talk might be less than civil, and that is typically the case when it comes to vaccines. Although there may be some who don’t really give it much thought, it seems as if most people are solidly on one side of the line or another. For some, it is a fear of autism and other issues that could happen with vaccinations, so they choose to avoid them. For others, it is a matter of using what is currently understood as medical science and vaccinating to protect their children and the children of others.

One of the vaccines that have been around for quite some time may help to protect the child from measles. In the state of Washington, they are dealing with a serious outbreak of that disease and interestingly, it is a state with a large percentage of vaccine exemptions. One mother who did not have her child vaccinated, who is now 3-years-old has come forward to ask how to protect her child.

“My 3-year-old is not vaccinated and there is currently a measles outbreak in my state,” she wrote in a group called Vaccine Education Network: Natural Health Anti-Vaxx Community. “Any suggestions for precautions I can take to protect her would be very much appreciated.”

Now is the part where we stand back and scratch our heads, wondering how someone could possibly set themselves up for this level of abuse. After all, measles was effectively eliminated in the US as of almost 20 years ago but, thanks in part to the rise in parents avoiding vaccinations, it is coming back again.

The mother ended up getting exactly what was coming to her. The responses to her post were not only funny, but they were also very pointed. As you scroll down through the responses below, you will see a healthy dose of dark humor. I’m sure it will make you smile and perhaps it might make you think a little.
