It’s no big surprise that when summer comes to an end, not every kid’s super-thrilled about going back to school. But for some strange reason, parents seem to have a different perspective on that first day of school. In fact, it wouldn’t be a stretch to say they are usually down-right giddy about it.
I know that I used to hate the first day of school, with my dad waking me up at 6 am while singing his annoying old-timey “School Days” song.
