Jokes come in almost every shape and size that you can possibly imagine. They cover every subject matter possible, and if they do their job, they leave you laughing in the end. For some people, a knock-knock joke is the only way to go and for others, blonde jokes or perhaps even redneck jokes are the best thing. One type of joke involves being granted a wish and things don’t quite turn out as you would expect. That is what we see in the following story that will leave you laughing for all the right reasons.
Two men from Mississippi went on a fishing trip.
Sadly, they were not the sharpest tools in the shed and didn’t fill up with gas before heading out.
Well after a few hours, sure enough, they run out of gas and are left floating on the Gulf of Mexico, lost to the current.
As the days go by and drifting aimlessly, they run out of food and water, so naturally, they’re pretty desperate.
Out on the water, one of them spies a gorgeous Mermaid, and they both frantically paddle towards her.
One of them pulls her up out of the water and into the boat.
“Will ya grant us three wishes, Miss Mermaid?” the Mississippian pleads.
“I’d love to, but Mermaids can only grant one wish. So wish carefully.”
Quickly, one of the men calls out, “I wish the gulf’d turn to beer!”
“Consider it done.” The Mermaid hops over the side of the boat and back into the water, and in that instant the entire gulf changes from water to beer.
The second Mississippian looks at the first, stunned, then finally manage,
“Ya darned idiot! Now we are gonna have to pee in the boat!”
