10-Year-Old Prodigy’s Fingers Dance On The Piano Keyboard During A Jaw-Dropping Performance

It doesn’t matter who we are, we are going to have some type of talent that is hidden deep within us. Some of us will show the talent to our friends and family members but others will hide it, feeling as if it is not good enough to show the world. Every once in a while, however, we hear about somebody who has so much talent that it almost isn’t fair. That is the case with this young girl, who is more than a pianist, she is a prodigy.

From the time that we are young, we have probably spent a fair share of time taking music lessons. Not everybody takes them, but I can remember playing the piano from the time that I could first pull the bench up to the keyboard. I never really did anything with it but that wasn’t the case for Alexandra Dovgan. She is a 10-year-old Russian girl who was only five years old when she realized she had a calling.

Her abilities on the ivory keys are absolutely amazing. When she showed up at the second international grand piano championship for young pianists in Moscow this year, nobody could believe what they were seeing. She chose Mendelssohn’s “Piano Concerto No. 1 in G minor, Op. 25.”

The piece is amazing but the way that Alexandra played it is sure to give you palpitations. I can only imagine how amazing it is to see this in person.

Nobody was surprised when young Alexandra walked away with the grand prize.

This is only one of the many awards that Alexander has won. The first was in 2014 only two years after she started playing the piano. If you were to list out all of the other awards that she’s won, it would fill an entire page.

You can watch a few minutes of her performance in this video. Prepare yourself to be amazed:
