He Died, Was Revived, Got Engaged, Won The Lotto And Then Things Got Even Better

There are times when you may think that nothing is going your way and at other times, it seems as if everything just happens to fall in place. Perhaps you had gone to work one particular morning and found the perfect parking spot and although it was raining, it stopped long enough for you to go inside while it was dry. This type of random occurrence can also happen in larger events, including surviving a brush with death.

This may happen to all of us to a certain extent but Australian Bill Morgan seems as if he has more going for him than most. When you put it into perspective, you might even feel as if he is the most fortunate person on the face of the earth. It started when he was 37 years old and he was working as a truck driver, living in a trailer and dating a girl that he had been with for years. That is when things changed.

First of all, he was crushed in an automobile accident and had a near-fatal heart attack. He was able to survive.

After he arrived at the hospital, a staff member gave him medication and he had an allergic reaction. His heart stopped for 14 minutes.

His story didn’t end there because the doctors were able to revive him. He was in a coma and his family was told to take him off life support. Bill ended up waking up 12 days later. They were concerned about brain damage and memory loss but he didn’t seem to have any issues.

That wasn’t all.

Bill started making changes in his life. He quit his job and asked his girlfriend to marry him. She said yes.

Bill decided to purchase a lottery ticket. After buying the scratch-off Lotto ticket, he won a car.

A news station in Australia heard about his incredible streak and decided they would tell his story. They took them back to the store so he could buy another ticket and re-create his win for the news.

When he was scratching off his new ticket, he said “I just won $250,000. I am not joking, I just won $250,000.”

All of this happened in a single year. He got in a car crash, died, came back to life, got engaged and then won the lottery two times.

Maybe there’s hope for the rest of us yet. You can see him win the lottery live in this video:
