There are certain subjects that just seem to be universal in their appeal but that doesn’t necessarily mean that everybody is going to have the talent to perform them in front of an audience. An example of this is dancing. Most of us are aware of the old saying that we should ‘dance like nobody’s watching’ and perhaps our dancing is best left confined to areas where other people are not able to see us. That isn’t the case, however, with Brett Nichols.
Brett is only a teenager but he has dance moves that are superior to most people at any age in their life. He is able to bring back the dances of Michael Jackson and he does so in a way that inspires thousands of people with a single performance. It happened at a high school talent show and it seems as if it came out of the blue to perform this dance to Michael Jackson’s, Billie Jean. He gets up in front of the crowd and absolutely stuns them with what he is able to do.
The performance is absolute dancing perfection. It seems as if he has a natural talent and he isn’t afraid to do it in front of an audience. He goes along with the beat of the music, just as if he were Michael Jackson himself.
You might think that Brett is a little bit shy if you were to meet him anywhere but the dance floor but he isn’t showing a single ounce of nervousness. The crowd seems to absolutely love what he is doing and this choreography is right on target.
Perhaps the best part of the entire performance is when Brett does the moonwalk. I don’t know if it’s the shoes or if it’s just his performance but he absolutely nails it. His moves beg to be shared with others and that is probably why his video has been shown so many times on YouTube.
Brett Nichols was able to wow the audience and the judges. In the end, he won first place and he has a room full of fans that absolutely love what he is able to do.
The performance took place at Pittman High School in Turlock, California. He was able to showcase his talents on a number of major news networks and he even traveled with cover bands for Michael Jackson.
Some of us may spend an entire lifetime trying to find our talent but it looks as if Brett already has his nailed down. Michael may be gone but his legacy lives on in this youngster.
This song also continues to remain popular and thanks to these performances, it gets a new lease on life.
If you pay attention, you can hear the crowd reacting to some of the moves in his performance. They cannot believe that someone they go to school with is able to dance like this.
The staff members also are astounded at what he is able to do. I love the part when he goes up on his toes, it’s incredible.
