Woman Breaks Into Tears When She Sees What 4 Kids Did After Sneaking Onto Her Property

Life can be kind of strange sometimes and it is not always fair. We might think about the unfairness of life when we think about a 75-year-old woman who was threatened with being arrested. In fact, there was already a warrant out for her arrest in this Texas town. It wasn’t because she was dealing drugs or because she had dozens of unpaid parking tickets. It is because her grass was over 18 inches tall.

Fast-forward to a few days later and a group of young boys decided they were going to do something about the situation. They had never met the woman before but they were in no way going to allow a 75-year-old woman to go to jail. That is when they came up with the plan and it is something that is touching hearts all across the Internet.

Gerry Suttle, the 75-year-old woman, was issued a notice to go in front of a judge. It was to discuss the grass that was on her property. According to the local laws, the grass could be no higher than 18 inches tall. She didn’t have any idea that the law was in existence.

She also said that she did not receive the letter about the court date with the judge. When she failed to appear in court, however, they issued a warrant for her arrest.

When these young boys heard about her arrest warrant, they took action.

“It’s a summer day, we don’t have season passes yet to Warren Falls. What else could we do? Just go out and help some people,” stated Blaine Reynolds, one of the young boys that helped pitch in.”

They had never even met her before.

“We haven’t met her before but I mean, like I said, she’s 75-years-old, she needs some help out here mowin’. I mean, that’s the least we could do.”

Their efforts to help this older member of the community was more than just mowing the lawn. It kept her from going to jail and it was a generous act.

When they started mowing the lawn, other neighbors saw what they are were doing and decided to chip in. It was 90° outside and they were using normal mowers to take care of a large area.

It wasn’t long before the neighbor showed up, some of whom had riding mowers.

Two hours later the entire field was cared for and it was beautiful. That should keep the judge happy.

When she came out and saw what had happened, she was speechless.

“I cannot believe this. I’m very seldom without words but this is one time, you mark it down in history, that I didn’t have something to say,” the surprised woman said.

She was stunned that young kids would go out of their way to help an older woman they had never met before.

“I really wouldn’t want her coming out here doing it or paying a bunch of money when we could have just done it for free,” stated Brandon Reynolds, the brother of Blaine.

These acts of kindness really show us there is a lot of positive vibes left in the world.
