Many of us tend to settle into the same routine and we might find ourselves sticking with that routine over and over for weeks, months or perhaps even years. Every once in a while we may feel like it is time to break away and make a change. It isn’t the easiest thing to do but when we finally end up doing it, we often wonder why it took us so long to do it in the first place.
One of the people who decided the change was important was a 60-year-old woman named Kim. It was her birthday and her family decided to give her a special treat but they didn’t want to give her some something material. She didn’t want to dress or a new purse, she wanted something that was really going to make a difference. They decided to give her a special makeover and it turned out to be the perfect gift.
Kim had mentioned to her daughter that it would’ve been great to get a makeover from Christopher Hopkins. He is the Makeover Guy and she knew that her 60th birthday was the perfect time to do it. Of course, she was just talking at the time and she really had no idea that they were going to follow through on it.
Everybody was in on the surprise, including Kim’s husband as well as his son Chad and wife Megan. Her daughter and her husband had the idea of how they would break the news to her and it was perfectly executed.
Kim received clues on cards every half hour on her 60th birthday. By the time the game was over, she would realize that she was going on the Makeover Guy’s show for a very dramatic makeover. She was excited, to say the least.
Kim already has long, beautiful hair and even though she keeps it in good condition, it wasn’t doing her the justice that she deserves. That is why Christopher decided to give her a new look and one that was a lot of fun. He also wanted to add some curls so that it looked fantastic.
Kim’s makeup was also beautiful. It wasn’t too much, it was just enough to look fantastic. In the end, she looked a lot younger and she was obviously a lot happier as well.
When you see the reactions of her family, you realize just how much it means to everyone to see Kim happy. They were absolutely dumbfounded and all they could do was look and smile.
Even though there was a monetary value that could be put on this particular gift, it wasn’t one that most people would consider to be of monetary value. He gave her something special because he created a new look for her and gave her a memory that she will never forget.
