When we enjoy listening to one particular singer, it seems as if we get used to the style of their music. It may even be possible that we come to expect them to perform a particular style of song and music. They may do so in order to appease the masses and to maintain their level of celebrity status but in reality, many of them are just musicians who have an extreme amount of talent. This includes Ed Sheeran, who rose to fame about a decade ago and since that time, he has gained a worldwide audience of millions of fans. They love everything that he does, regardless of whether he is doing it in the studio or on the stage.
Ed Sheeran does have a particular style of pop music and people tend to love the fact that he does so much with what he has at his disposal. He is not just a celebrity, however, he is also a musician and a fan, so there are times whenever he sings the songs of other musicians. This includes a rather surprising song that you see and hear in the video below. It is an old song by Britney Spears, “Hit Me Baby One More Time”. I’m sure that most of us automatically think about Britney Spears when we hear the name of the song but after seeing this video, you may just think about Ed Sheeran.
There are many interesting things about this cover of a Britney Spears song but perhaps the most interesting is the fact that he doesn’t simply sing in the same style. He adds his own flair to it and truly makes it his own. That is something we have come to appreciate about Ed Sheeran and his abilities.
Of course, nobody will do it quite like the original but Ed Sheeran does a great job of keeping us entertained with this old Britney Spears tune. Watch it in the video below and you will have a greater appreciation for what Ed Sheeran is able to do.
