Ed Sheeran Makes The Internet ‘Fall In Love’ With Touching Elvis Classic

Most music fans would not have a problem saying that Elvis earned the name of ‘King of rock ‘n’ roll’. Even though he has been gone for decades, his music still inspires others and we often hear it on the radio, even singing along and tapping our feet to the beat of the music. Elvis left a legacy and it is not only the listeners of his music who appreciate what he had to offer, it was other musical artists who also are inspired.

In order to give a tribute in honor of Elvis, NBC recently held an event where singers came together to perform some of his classic music. There were many big names at the event but there was one particular singer who stood out when he performed one of those hits. It was something that you are going to treasure, regardless of whether you are a fan of Elvis or not.

Some of the different stars who showed up for the event included Carrie Underwood, Adam Lambert, Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban. They sang some of his more popular singles but Ed Sheeran performed one and the Internet has fallen in love with it. He decided to cover the Elvis classic, ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’.

Ed is known for his popular music and love ballads. He was an absolutely perfect choice for singing this song during the tribute. It is one of Elvis’s most popular love songs and Ed’s voice seems to do it justice.

The 1968 special with Elvis at the lead was supposed to be re-created by this tribute. The event was said to have revitalized his career. In addition to the celebrity musical performances, there was interviews and rare footage with his family and colleagues.

The stage was even said to be an exact replica of the show from 1968. This performance may have had a more modern slant to it but it was still reminiscent of being inside of a chapel. It is the perfect tribute to one of the greatest singers of all time.
