‘I’m Marrying Him Not His Crotch Goblin’: Bride Tries To Justify Banning Fiancé’s Toddler From Wedding

Kids can be a handful, especially during adult events where they are often bored out of their minds. Then there are those wonderful tantrums parents have to deal with, especially if a little one’s tired, hungry, and cranky. While it’s perfectly understandable for some couples to enforce a “no kids” policy for their weddings to avoid any issues, it appears one bride-to-be went way too far after she decided to ban her groom’s 3-year-old daughter from their wedding. While taking to Facebook, the woman asked other users if she was wrong for making such a demand, and the question soon found its way on to Reddit, where it became viral.

In her post, the woman explained how she placed “no kids’ on all the invites, hoping it would provide her subtle hint.. To her fiancé to leave his child with a babysitter. However, to her chagrin, he continued talking about bringing his child to their wedding.

“How do I tell my fiance I don’t want his daughter at our wedding? I put ‘no kids’ on the invites so I thought he’d get the point, but he keeps mentioning her being there??” read the post written by the indignant bride to be.

However, if she was looking for sympathy, Reddit was definitely the wrong tree for her to bark up, as the Redditors wasted no time thoroughly roasting the woman for her cruel and insensitive treatment of her future husband’s child.

While attempting to clarify her side of the story, she posted an update. However, her newest remarks only made matters worse when she referred to her future stepdaughter as her fiancé’s “crotch goblin,” calling the little girl her dad’s “mistake, not mine.” The woman wrote:

“People keep asking the same dumb question. She’s 3. I am marrying him not his crotch goblin. That’s his mistake not mine. Explaining why she didn’t want her the three-year-old child to be present, she continued, I don’t want her there because she’s needy asf and makes everything about her AND I said no f***ing kids! “

As you can imagine, most Redditors expressed their sympathy for the fiancé and his daughter, hoping he would recognize who the woman really was before it was too late.

With her attitude, it sets up a bad environment for the groom’s 3-year-old. She isn’t just becoming his wife only. She will be the stepmother of that 3-year-old. Also if she has problems with the 3-year-old then I have to question her choice of marrying him. She no doubt knows that she will have to be a mother to that 3-year-old. This even shows bad judgment on the groom’s part. Knowing that his fiancee doesn’t like his daughter then why would he still want to marry her. I would’ve dumped her as soon as I know that she wouldn’t get along with my daughter. Marrying her could even put his daughter into danger. What will prevent her from one day killing his daughter? Or at the least abusing her to no end. Making life a living hell. Then in turn that could cause his own daughter to hate him. Regardless of the outcome, it is not a wise move to marry such a woman, wrote user SolarDragon4114.

Another person added:

“Lady, when you marry a man, you marry his family. The fact that you refer to his daughter as a “crotch goblin” is a major red flag and he needs to dump your sorry ass. An anonymous user expressed: I wish I knew her, so I could give her solid advice. Just be open and honest, tell him you don’t want that little “crotch goblin” at the wedding. He’s going to be super supportive and get rid of the horrid little shit in his life so that he can focus his attention on the person he loves and loves him back. Then watch him kick this horrid piece of shit of a woman to the curb, I don’t want kids but this bridezilla is disgusting. Speaking from experience Redditor CRJG95 said: My stepmother didn’t want my brother and I at the wedding reception, we were 16 and 13. My dad’s whole family basically said that if she sent us home they would all leave as well so she ended up backing down. Things did not get better after they got married.”

Hopefully, this dad listened to his instincts and made tracks as fast as possible before saying I do to this horrible person. Otherwise, one can only feel sorry for his little girl, who will have to deal with an evil stepmother.
