John Fogarty Sits With Howard Stern For An Impressive Performance Of “Have You Ever Seen The Rain?”

If you have been around for a few decades and can remember rock ‘n roll from when it was fairly new, then you likely remember Creedence Clearwater Revival, commonly known as CCR. They were one of those rock bands that just seemed to bring everything that they had to the table. From playing at Woodstock to playing on radios around the world, it seemed as if the driving guitar, awesome vocals and the power that went behind every song was something to remember. Although there was a lot that went into making those songs great, John Fogarty was at the heart of it all.

John Fogarty is the voice of Creedence Clearwater Revival and after the band broke up, he continued to put out music that made it to the top of the charts. Through it all, however, he never lost his love of the music that he performed when he was singing with CCR. There is also something interesting about John Fogarty that you may not recognize until you see him live in concert. His voice is absolutely perfect and when you hear him singing on the stage, it’s just like hearing him perform some of those old songs from the studio. Whether he is singing those old classics or some of his new stuff, it’s absolutely incredible to hear.

One of the classic songs that CCR was known for is “Have You Ever Seen the Rain?” It is a song that has really made people turn up the radio for decades and it still has that effect when you hear it today. Of course, it’s one thing to hear it played on the radio and quite another to hear John Fogarty singing it live.

In the video that you see below, you get to watch and hear John Fogarty performing “Have You Ever Seen the Rain” in the studio for Howard Stern. It must’ve been an amazing moment for him, and I can imagine what it was like for Howard Stern to have such an epic singer sitting in front of him. From the moment that he strums the first cord on the guitar, you will know where this is going. Enjoy it for yourself in the video below.
