Man Walks 280 Miles After Family Argument And Gets Fined Due To Lockdown

Ask any married person and they will tell you that it isn’t always a walk in the park. In fact, it is very rare that you will find any married couple that doesn’t have an argument every once in a while. At times, those arguments can really get to you, and that is illustrated nicely in the case of this Italian man who had to calm himself down after arguing with his wife. In order to do so, he would walk about 40 miles a day to get rid of his anger. He left northern Italy from Como and traveled about 280 miles south over the next week.

Eventually, his travels took him to a beach resort on the Adriatic coast, an area known as Fano. It would’ve been an amusing story, had it not been for the curfew that was in place across the nation of Italy. That curfew meant you had to be indoors between the hours of 10 PM and 5 AM and the police would actively search for those who were breaking the rules. Eventually, they found this man and then discovered he had been reported missing by his wife. Although they may have been somewhat sorry for what he had gone through, it didn’t stop them from fining him about $485 for his breach of the curfew. They then put him up at a local hotel.

Even though the man traveled a great distance to calm down, he wasn’t injured. He admitted that he was a little tired, but said that he was fine. He also said that strangers would offer him food and drinks as he walked by.

The next time you have an argument with your husband or your wife, you can remember this man. He went a long way to avoid being angry after an argument, and perhaps we won’t have to go quite so far the next time things get a little sour in our marriage.
