If you happen to be a stay-at-home mom or if you know a mother that stays at home, you realize they don’t always get the respect they deserve. Raising a family and taking care of the home is hard work, and nobody should ever be accused of taking it easy.
Of course, there are benefits to both staying at home and going out to work, but when you have this as part of your relationship, respect is really what should be shown in both directions.
Unfortunately, one woman did not get the respect that she deserved. In fact, she reported on a video she shared on TikTok that she wasn’t getting any respect while she stayed home and took care of the children and the house.
The mother of two decided that she would let her boyfriend know exactly what she did every day while he was out working. In the video, she said that he claims she does ‘nothing’ while he is gone, but he had to eat his words after seeing the video.
In the video, she goes in fast motion from one job to the other and you can really tell that she is busy all day long. Regardless of whether it is doing laundry, making dinner for her kids, giving baths, or doing dishes, she is always on the move.
In some cases, she gives a little commentary about how difficult those chores are. Between her daughter being picky and having to clean her son’s diaper in the middle of giving a bath, it really shows how difficult things are.
Of course, both of the children want her attention constantly, and eventually, she is able to put her daughter to bed, feed her son and do the rest of the cleaning.
After all is said and done, she finally gets the opportunity for a little time to herself. Typically, she would have sent a text message to ask her boyfriend what he wants for dinner but instead, she decided to make herself a strong drink.
