When most of us think about celebrity marriages, we don’t really have the best picture in our minds. In many cases, it seems as if they are just getting married when divorce is on the horizon.
Of course, we can hardly blame many of them for having such a rocky start in their marriage. They are not left alone by the paparazzi and that extra strain, along with dealing with something new in our life can push any of us to the edge.
When you look around, however, you begin to recognize that there are some celebrities that are not struggling with their marriages. Sylvester Stallone is one of those individuals.
Most of us probably think about Sylvester Stallone and some of the roles that he has played, from Rocky to Rambo. It seems as if he was in almost every action movie made for a number of decades.
Along with being a well-known actor, he is also a devoted family man. He is married to a former model, Jennifer Flavin and he recently celebrated an anniversary with her.
They posted pictures on social media in order to celebrate their anniversary. They were tributes that really showed how they were able to last 24 years and are still going strong in their marriage.
In Stallone’s picture on Instagram, he said: “Time is flying but I have a blessed life Thanks to my wife and Family.” He may be 74, but he is still going strong.
His 52-year-old wife also shared pictures on social media, including a picture of them on their wedding day. She wrote: “Happy 24 year wedding anniversary to the love of my life!”
Although they are doing quite well in their marriage, it is actually the third time that Stallone has been married. His first marriage lasted about 11 years and they had two sons. He also had a second wife, but that only lasted two years.
He dated Flavin for six years before finally marrying her. After being married in 1997, they went on to have three daughters together.
Romance is something that really has changed things for Stallone in his current marriage. He claims that he has never had more fun and that it took him 19 years to realize that his wife was always right.
In his estimation, he tends to leap without looking so now he looks to his wife for some direction.
