The First Toy Story 4 Teaser Is Out And We Can’t Wait For Next Summer

There are many of us who grew up enjoying the Toy Story movies. They are absolutely incredible and although they have been around for quite some time, they still continue to fascinate and entertain the younger generation as well. The last time we saw a Toy Story movie, it was when Andy was heading off to college and it had a touching scene at the end that had grown men crying in the movie theater. If you remember that movie with a lot of love in your heart, you will be happy to know that the first trailer release for Toy Story 4 is now out.

The new film is set to be released in the summer of 2019. It seems as if that is a long way off but it is going to be here before you know it! The first trailer is only here to help whet our appetite and to prepare us for yet another part of the series that has become so near and dear to us. It is also a very long-running series, with the first film being released over 20 years ago in 1995. Although the teaser does not give us a glimpse of the actual film, you do get to see some of the characters in slow motion.

Tim Allen, who is the voice of Buzz Light Year says that the fourth and final movie is also going to be a tearjerker, just like Toy Story 3.

He said: “It is so emotional, it’s so funny, it’s so big, the idea they’ve come up with, I’m startled.

“I couldn’t even get through the last scene. I would love to be a Washington leaker.”

When they pressed Allen for more details, he said: “I just can’t do it. I can’t give any more away.

“They’ve got great characters but a couple of scenes toward the end were really hard to get through.”

Tom Hanks, who does the voice of Woody is in total agreement. He was speaking on BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show when he said: “The way you record Toy Story, you’re in a room with the team that has created it.

“When I went in for my last day of recording, I wanted to have my back to them, because usually, you’re facing him, so he can look right up and you can talk about it. But I didn’t want to see them and pretend they couldn’t see me.

“When I realized what they were going for, I realized, ‘Oh, this is a moment in history.'”

Allen also talked about the script for the final installment was just too good to turn down.

He said: “Somehow they were able to advance this wonderful story that could have easily ended with number three being the best of the bunch.

“It’s emotional and funny and exciting and different and took it to a whole new level. It walks the line between comfort – you know what’s going on – and discomfort – wondering what’s going to happen. It’s terrifically emotional.”
