Two Sisters Arrested, Accused of Stabbing Store Employee 27 Times After Being Asked To Wear Masks

In Chicago, Illinois, two women have been placed under arrest after one of the women allegedly held a man down while the other stabbed the victim dozens of times. According to the Chicago Police Department, on Sunday night, 18-Year-old Jayla Hill and 21-Year-Old Jessica Hill walked into a neighborhood shoe store where they were met at the door by a store security guard who asked them to wear face masks and use the hand sanitizer made available at the front of the store. Officials say the sisters refused and began a verbal argument with the 32-year-old man.

The Chicago Times reports, one of the sisters then picked up a trash can, which she “smashed” into the 6’5, 270-pound guard’s face. The women then began punching him. That’s when Jessica hill allegedly took out a knife in her back pocket and began stabbing the guard while Jayla Hill prevented him from defending himself. It’s said that Jessica Hill stabbed the guard 27 times in the chest, back and arms while the assistant store manager and guard urged her to stop, reports the Chicago Sun-Times.

According to prosecutors, after the man was free, the sisters then allegedly kicked him in the body and head.

An in-store surveillance camera captured the entire horrifying assault.

“It’s the complete randomness of this. It’s terrifying,” Judge Mary Marubio said Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Marubion ordered that the sisters remain in jail without bail as they now face attempted murder charges. For more on this story, you can also watch a video below.
