Steve From Blue’s Clues Has Broken His Silence With A Message For Grown-Ups

Are you somebody that grew up in the 90s watching Blue’s Clues? It’s hard to believe that it’s been over 25 years ago since it was on TV. Time certainly does fly! Even though that show has been off the air for quite some time, it is still something that we remember in our hearts. We may not think about it on a daily basis but when you stop to think about how Steve, the host, would run around with that blue dog and look for clues, get excited about the mail, and teach us something about life, it really is interesting. As many of you know, however, Steve left the show and it happened rather abruptly.

It took place in an episode in 2002 called Steve Went to College. Suddenly, Steve got on a bus and drove out of our lives, and his brother, Joe became the host of the show. Of course, Joe did a fantastic job but Steve rarely ever came back on the show except for some special appearances and when it was rebooted in 2019. In fact, we haven’t heard much about him, but that changed recently when he went on Twitter to apologize for disappearing so quickly. He left a message for the adults that grew up watching Blue’s Clues and it left many people in tears.

He began by talking about hanging out with Blue and how many of us were looking for the clues with them and got excited when they got excited. It was a nice time in our lives but suddenly, Steve was gone.

He went on to say that it was a time in his life that really was tumultuous for him. He didn’t exactly want to go to college but it did get him where he needed to be in life and he lets us know that he never forgot us in the process.
