These Two Tricky Math Puzzles Will Get Your Brain Gears Moving

Do you enjoy math? The way I look at it, there are three types of people in the world, in regards to math. The first one is people who hate and fear math. The second type is people who dread math but do what they have to do. The third type of person is a person who loves math and finds it both fun and challenging. I’m in group number two. I was never afraid of math, exactly, but I didn’t exactly love it, either. Mostly, I found it boring and I was a bit of a lazy student (just being honest) and math is a lot of work.

What is it about math that makes it so difficult, and why do so many people hate it so much? For one thing, there’s a lot of memorization required in math. If you’re not good at remembering things, that makes it a challenge to be good at math. Or if you’re just lazy, like I was. Another thing is that for some kids, it can be hard to focus and concentrate. My wife says that’s why she wasn’t good at math. She didn’t know as a kid that she probably had A.D.D. and just couldn’t focus for long enough to learn math. But math puzzles can be fun. Let’s try two now.
