The human brain is absolutely amazing and at times, we may have difficulty separating the things we see from reality. Of course, when something is clear and right in front of our face, we don’t have any reason to doubt it but that doesn’t mean we are always seeing the whole truth. After all, we tend to look at things as if we were looking at the bigger picture and sometimes, this can cause us to miss some of the details along the way. This is best illustrated through a rather unique experiment that showed that much of what we see is not fully passed on to the brain and as a result, we aren’t always detail-oriented.
I’d like to show your picture and when you look at it, I don’t want you to think much about it. I just want you to take a quick glance at it and tell me what you see. Believe it or not, even though this is a rather simple picture, there are people who will see different things in it. What you see can actually reveal something about your personality but not everybody is going to fully get it.
