If you have a dog in your family, you realize just what they offer to your home. They are more than just something that maintains security in the home (although we love them for it), they are a full-fledged member of the family. I don’t know about you, but I could never imagine not having my faithful dog by my side. They just seem to make me smile from the heart as soon as I see them and when I am away from my beloved pooch, I can’t wait to get back to them again.
I don’t think it would surprise you to learn that many people consider their furry family members to be as important to them as the human members of their family. Perhaps that is why most people cheer when they hear about the story of Liz Haslam. She loves her dogs and spends as much time with them as possible. Liz also told a popular online news source that her husband, Mike, put the love of her dogs to the test and the dogs won.
Liz had met her husband in school and they were married early. He is now her ex-husband, thanks to his decision to give her an ultimatum. It was either him or the dogs, and she chose the dogs. The best part is, she doesn’t regret it.

Liz has a real love of bull terriers, and she decided to start a rescue for the breed. In the end, she doesn’t blame her ex-husband for making that choice. In fact, she considers it to be healthy for both of them.
