Queen + Adam Lambert Make Us Miss Freddie Mercury With A Perfect Cover Of ‘Who Wants To Live Forever’

What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of the rock band Queen? If Freddie Mercury is the first thing to cross your mind, you certainly are not alone. After all, he was the front man for that rock band from the very start and he was responsible, in a large way, of making them as popular as they are today. Although Freddie Mercury died a number of years ago, he left behind a legacy that all of us can appreciate and if you happen to be a Queen fan, you likely still miss the days when he was out on the stage, singing and dancing like only he could. It was just something amazing to see, but now we have to see it on video.

Queen has always been popular and for good reason. After all, who could resist the driving guitar and lyrics of songs, such as, ‘Another One Bites the Dust’, ‘We Will Rock You’ and ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’. There were also some other songs that were extremely popular and others that may not have the same level of popularity but all Queen fans know and love them. That includes ‘Who Wants to Live Forever’, and you get to see it for yourself in the video below. It isn’t Freddie Mercury who is out in front singing, however, it is Adam Lambert and I think everyone in attendance that night at the Isle of Wight Festival in 2016 was absolutely amazed with his abilities.

Although Adam Lambert has done a phenomenal job of singing for Queen, there are some people who feel that he shouldn’t be there. They think that he is just trying to be a replacement for Freddie Mercury but in reality, he is doing what he does best, standing out in front of the band and performing.

I think most of us would agree that Freddie Mercury would’ve been proud of Adam Lambert and what he was able to accomplish. I think that the only thing better than hearing Adam Lambert performed for Queen and watching old Freddie Mercury videos would have been to get the opportunity to hear them performing together. Enjoy this video and watch your appreciation of Queen go to a new height.
