Have you ever had a close friend but the two of you had a love-hate relationship? It happens to most of us, and when we look back on our friendship, it is always the good times that we remember. In some cases, we may even find that the good-natured ribbing that we do with each other is a good time in and of itself. This is not only something that we experience as ‘normal’ people, it is also something that happens to individuals who are in the public eye. A good example of this is Hugh Jackman and his relationship with Ryan Reynolds.
It seems as if the two of these individuals just couldn’t get along with each other. They were always going back and forth and it seemed as if we were seeing something new from them that was cringe worthy each and every week. After being at each other’s throats for quite some time, they decided to call a truce and they made it public on social media. Not only did they make a truce, they decided to bury the hatchet by making commercials for each other’s company. As you can imagine, the stage was set for something to go wrong.
When you watch the video, you can see Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds discussing the commercials with each other. Jackman has a product known as Laughing Man Coffee and he has the benefit of Reynolds making an awesome commercial for him. In fact, he even whispers that it cost $1 million after it was finished.
Then it is time for Jackman to give his commercial for Reynolds’ company, Aviation Gin. At first, he doesn’t want to show it but then in the end, he shows it, but it is one of those cringe-worthy moments. You can see it in this video:
