When a man and a woman are standing next to each other and make promises at their wedding ceremony, there are many things that may be understood about what they are saying. Primarily, they are promising to be faithful to each other and to stick by each other’s side through thick or thin. It is something that many of us wait years to do and when we find that someone special, we realize that we are ready to say our promises and move forward with life as husband and wife.
Then again, reality may set in at some point and we begin to realize that we may have given up some things in order to be married. For example, when we are married, we do lose a little bit of our freedom. Most of us realize that it is give-and-take and we do our best to deal with whatever situations come our way with a smile on our face. Then again, there may also be times when we need a little something extra in our lives.
