Those of us who have a dog in the family realize how attached we can get to those animals. From the moment that we bring them into our home, they find a way to work themselves into our hearts. Most of us could never even imagine a time that we didn’t have a dog in our lives so it doesn’t come as any surprise when we sometimes consider them to be just as much a part of the family as any human member of the household. Sometimes, this can even lead to some awkward situations.
In the following story, a boyfriend and his girlfriend were getting ready to move forward in their relationship but the girlfriend needed him to make a change. She started demanding that he get rid of his dog that he had had for quite some time, and it was causing him a lot of distress. He decided that he would place an ad on Craigslist and make the sale as quickly as possible to cut his losses and move on with his life. When the story was posted, it shocked everyone and became a very popular item to pass around online. Just look at the ad below and you will see why:

MY girlfriend does not like my beagle Molly. SO I have to rehome her. She is a purebred from a wealthy area and I have had her 4 years. She likes to play games. Not totally trained. Has long hair so she’s a little high maintenance, especially the nails, but she loves having them done. Stays up all night yapping but sleeps while I work. Only eats the best, most expensive food. Will NEVER greet you at the door after a long day or give you unconditional love when you’re down. Does not bite but she can be mean as hell!
