There are certain moments in your life that will define you and, regardless of who we are, those are the moments that we will remember for a lifetime. For some of us, we might think about our wedding day or perhaps the day that our first child was born. These are certainly moments that changed us and defined us, but there are moments in some people’s lives that are quite different. For example, if you are a singer and a popular celebrity, there may be certain performances that really define your career and those are going to be the moments that you remember for quite some time. One of those is singing at a certain venue and Sam Smith had the opportunity to do it.
When you really stop to think about it, performers probably remember a number of important dates in their career. It might be the first time that they played in front of a large audience or perhaps it was a record deal that ended up going platinum. Anybody who has the opportunity to sing there can absolutely say that they have made the big time. Sam Smith was obviously a popular singer before he ever showed up on the stage at this venue, but it was still a moment that he would remember and no doubt treasure.
Sam Smith is an English singer and songwriter who became popular in 2012 when one of his breakthrough singles rose to number 11 on the UK singles chart. I’m sure that was a defining moment in his career as well and since that time, he has never looked back.
