The Rolling Stones Join To Perform ‘You Can’t Always Get What You Want’ From Their Homes

To say that the world has changed in recent weeks would be an understatement. Because of the coronavirus, the entire world is on lockdown and, although there are some people who go out for essential jobs and others who just go out to be out for a moment, we do our best to stay at home and stay safe. There have been some people who have already been locked away behind closed doors for weeks and they’re wondering how they are ever going to get back out again into a world that is somewhat normal. Rather than meeting face-to-face, we meet over the Internet on Zoom and through other apps, and it really is an interesting experience.

At times, being able to experience these moments with each other is something that we appreciate more than we ever thought we could. Many people have continued to perform and to entertain us, including some that are doing so in a very unique way. That is seen in the following video, where the Rolling Stones are performing “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” during a very unique event. It is One World: Together at Home and it is sure to touch you in a very personal way. In fact, it doesn’t matter if you are a big fan of Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones or not, it is sure to be something that you will treasure because it is a little bit of normalcy in a world that has gone crazy.

The video was uploaded by Global Citizen, which is a social action platform that is attempting to solve some of the biggest problems that the world has. This may not solve every problem, but it might just help us to feel as if we are connected once again.

Mick Jagger has been around for quite some time and the Rolling Stones have been entertaining for decades. We can be thankful that they continue to keep us entertained, even when they do so in this unique way.
