There have been many amazing moments in music history over the years, some of which we may enjoy thinking back on with a smile on our face. For many people, it happened in 1970 when a band was coming together in London and they would go on to be one of the greatest rock bands of all time. The band included members such as Singer Freddie Mercury, lead guitarist Brian May and Roger Taylor. All of these came together to form Queen, and we are still loving the music that they played down to this day. We enjoy it when it is on the radio and we appreciate it when we are able to see old videos with Freddie Mercury thrilling an audience of tens of thousands of people.
Unfortunately, Freddie Mercury passed away almost 3 decades ago and I think that many fans were concerned that the band was going to follow the same path. What ended up happening, however, is that they went through a number of singers who would stand out in front and do their best to imitate and perhaps even replace Freddie Mercury. The reality of the situation, however, is that there was no replacement for Freddie Mercury because he was one-of-a-kind and to replace him would not be good for the band. That is where Adam Lambert came in. He has been touring with Queen and playing for a few years now, and he is absolutely incredible as the front man.
In the video that you see below, Adam Lambert is standing with Queen and they are performing one of the all-time classics, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’. It happened at Summer Sonic and this live performance was one that absolutely brought the audience to their feet!
It’s hard to imagine a band as epic as Queen ever fading into the background. Fortunately, we don’t have to because they are still rocking, all these years later. See it for yourself below.
