We all have an opportunity to learn lessons in life but not all of us take the chance when it comes our way. At times, it may actually come from the most unexpected source and that is the case when it comes to animals. We all realize that animals are lovely creatures and they can make a very important part of our family but if we don’t take the opportunity to learn from them, we are truly missing out. That is especially true of some animals that are beyond heroic, such as the dog in the story.
I’d like to introduce you to Maggie, a dog that has been known on an international level. Not only did she go through a difficult time during her life in Lebanon, she became a symbol of hope and resilience. When they found her, she already had one of her ears cut off, was shot 17 times and was pregnant. Going through any one of those issues would be hard enough, but going through all of them would be absolutely unbelievable. After being taken in by the Wild at Heart Foundation, the animal charity helped her to get the treatment she needed for her injuries. Were not sure if any of her puppies survived but after she got healthy enough, she was adopted by Kasey and taken from Lebanon to Brighton, UK.
