Julia Roberts Is An Advocate For Gender-Neutral Restrooms

2020 has seen its fair share of unusual happenings. I’m not even talking about the pandemic or the natural disasters that seem to be happening in one place after another, I’m talking about how everybody seems to have something they want to speak up for. It isn’t only the people on the streets who are fighting for what they feel is right, it is celebrities who also have a cause and they will follow it until their last breath.

One of the causes that many people are standing up for these days is gender neutrality. The traditional thought among society, and the thought that has been in existence for thousands of years, is that there is a male gender and a female gender. In recent years, however, the line has been blurred by many people who feel as if it should not be necessary to have a boy be a boy or a girl be a girl. There have even been reports of some parents who refuse to check the male or female box on a birth certificate, wanting the child to be able to choose when they are older.

One of the people who is championing the cause is Julia Roberts.

Although her feelings on the subject are not necessarily completely public, there is something that she feels strongly about. And that’s the fact that gender-neutral restrooms should be available in public places.

Of course, there are some people who will support this and other people who will argue against it. It just goes along with what we are dealing with in 2020.

As far as Julia Roberts is concerned, and she reveals it in an Instagram post, she is advocating for gender-neutral restrooms. She even poses in front of a gender-neutral restroom sign that has a person in a dress and another in pants, as well as a person wearing both. There is also a picture of someone in a wheelchair, so everyone is included.

An Instagram story was also posted by Roberts as she talked about one of the organizations that she supports. She says, ‘Hi everybody. I want to talk to you about an organization that I feel really strongly about, it’s called GLSEN,” she said. “GLSEN makes schools safe for every student no matter your sexual orientation or gender identity.”
