The Internet Wept When They Saw Her Brother With Down Syndrome In The First Look Photos

Although we will experience many days in our life that are memorable, one of the most memorable is going to be the day we get married. We tend to plan for that day for weeks or perhaps months and we want everything to be perfect.

There are also going to be parts of that day that are more memorable than others. Perhaps we might think about the walk down the aisle or we may think about the first dance as a married couple.

Something that we would consider to be special is also the first look. It’s the opportunity for somebody to see the bride for the first time and it often is one that makes for the most memorable pictures. Nobody knows this better than Ashley Rice.

When Ashley got married in New York, she was about to say I Do to her significant other, Brian. Everything had been planned out, including the photo session. This was something that was going to make an imprint on people around the world.

It isn’t the fact that she was a beautiful bride, which is certainly true. It’s the fact that her younger brother, Nick, has down syndrome and he was going to take part in a first look photography session that would bring tears to our eyes.

Ashley and Nick are close friends. They are also brother and sister, but they have a close bond that many families are unable to maintain. It was a no-brainer when it came to having the first look photograph, but nobody expected the pictures to turn out quite like this.

The photographer was one person who took a look at the pictures and recognized the closeness of the relationship. Even she was crying while she was taking the pictures because she knew that something special was in the making.

At first, Nick couldn’t say anything because he was just too stunned for words. He eventually told her that she was the most indescribable person in the world and he couldn’t even describe it.

When these pictures were posted on Facebook, they went viral for all the right reasons. Thousands of people shared them and thanks to their kindness, we are able to enjoy the special moment of that day.
