Boy Cries In Fear On The Bus As Time Runs Out But The Driver Knows Exactly What To Do

When we take any type of public transportation, we don’t typically give much thought to the person who is behind the wheel. We know that they are trained to care for our needs and to get us from one place to another without any serious problems. In fact, there is a degree of trust that is built into those situations so we don’t tend to think about it.

When you really stop to ponder over the situation, however, it really is quite amazing. It doesn’t matter if you are taking a taxi, the city bus or even a plane, you are putting your life into the hands of the person who is in charge of driving the vehicle. We never anticipate that there are going to be any problems. We just come to expect that we will reach our destination as anticipated.

The driver, on the other hand, sees a very different side of the story. They know that their passengers are relying on them and they take it seriously. There are going to be times when they also run into unexpected situations and that is true when children are on board.

One bus driver faced such a challenge and, thanks to her quick actions, she is now being called a hero. She wasn’t expecting problems but she was able to save the life of a 5-year-old who was just having some fun.

Like any good bus driver would do, she glanced back on occasion to make sure everything was in order. That is when she heard a sound that made her blood run cold.

One of the other children on the bus told her that their friend was chocking. Her first reaction was to scream, “Are you serious?”

Her next move would be one that made her a hero. Most people in this situation would panic, but she kept her cool.

As she got out of the seat and moved toward the young boy, you could tell she was doing it with purpose. Not only did she love her bus driving job, she loved the children as well.

She safely brought the bus to a stop and then focused all of her attention on the child. It really is a lesson in life for all of us to be observant and ready to take care of the situation we are facing.

It is unlikely that this bus driver thought that she might face this type of situation that day but she handled it very well.

After the penny was removed from his airway, she stuck with him to make sure he was ok. He was frightened but she wiped away his tears.

This little boy is alive today because of the quick thinking and actions of his bus driver. You can watch the footage in this video:
