Lonely Truck Driver Adopts A Stray Cat And Life Has Never Been More Purrfect

There are some people who love dogs and couldn’t imagine a better pet than a canine. On the other side of the line, however, there are people who love cats and they couldn’t imagine living life without a feline by their side. Although they are quite different in their choice of pet, there is one thing they have in common. They love the animal that is sharing their life and they are better because of the relationship.

That was the case with Paul Robertson. He is a truck driver and he absolutely loved his cat, Howie. He decided that he would take his feline companion on the road and they are quite a team. They hit the road together for the long haul and spend time with each other as they cross the country. Unfortunately, that came to an end with Howie passed away in 2017 and it broke Paul’s heart.

Paul was lonely on the road and was dealing with the grief of losing his friend and truck driving companion. That is when he decided to visit the shelter and give a stray a good home. He met Percy, a ginger stray and their lives have not been the same since.

Percy had been in a few fights on the street and he is missing a canine as well as dealing with an injury above his eye. His past was a bit rough but his future is bright. Paul knew that Percy was the cat for him and he adopted him on the spot.

Percy ended up becoming the perfect companion to take on the long haul truck driving trips. He loves riding in the truck and watching as the world goes by. In addition, Percy lives the trucking life and they do everything together, both on and off the road.

We are so happy that this trucking team found each other. They have been trucking together for almost 2 years and the story is just beginning.
