If there’s one constant in the universe, it’s that humans just can’t seem to get enough pictures of cats doing adorable things. For example, take the popular blog where cute cats are photographed, mimicking the poses of handsome men. Well, it seems there’s also a market for comparisons between fluffy kitties and pretty ladies as well. One can only assume this is the reason why folks created the “Cats That Look Like Pinup Girls” Tumblr. So now, ladies and gentlemen of any persuasion can enjoy the adorable comparisons between cats and pinup models. The premise is rather simple — find a picture of a gorgeous pinup model, and then find a picture of a funny cat making the same pose (or the other way around). Cute Kitties and beautiful pinup models go about as well together as well…everything else, really.
The blog is the brainchild of Australian creative freelancer Rachael Aslett and it also advertises Hurly-Burly, an alternative clothing store. And it was just a matter of time before such a blog was brought into the universe, as one of the internet’s main purposes is to feature anything related to cats that can be done.
