Have you ever heard the expression “strange bedfellows”? It is often used when people who would not typically get along seem to get along perfectly. They seem to be on the opposite end of the spectrum but for some reason or another, it works and a beautiful friendship is born. Sometimes, we may even find this in some of our very personal relationships, including those with our spouse.
In the end, it is really up to us to choose who is going to be our friend. Sometimes we make the wisest choice possible and may defy all logic but they bring us a sense of comfort that we just couldn’t find anywhere else. Sometimes it is necessary for us to have friends who are going to be there through thick and thin. Regardless of whether we are going through good times or bad times, we would want to ensure that they were by our side. That is what happened with these two unlikely friends.
Hilda is fortunate to have such a friend in her life. She has a little cat and with her help, a beautiful friendship was born. It’s amazing how things turned out in the end. You see, the cat used to go for a walk every morning and Hilda decided to follow out of curiosity.
What Hilda found was a deer that was being visited by her cat every day. We’re not sure how they met but we know that they had a beautiful friendship.
Both the feline and the deer became good friends and they just seemed to form an unbreakable bond. Every single day, the cat is out there meeting with her friend and Hilda was able to go along to those secret visits as well.
It’s amazing how some things turn out. We are so happy that these strange bedfellows were able to form friendships that defy all odds.
