Little Owls Give The Angriest Look When They Discover The Hidden Camera Outside Their Den

It doesn’t matter who we are, we all want to make sure that we feel comfortable in our homes. That includes expecting a relative degree of privacy and when we are behind closed doors, we just don’t want the outside world to know what is going on, even if there isn’t anything wrong taking place. In fact, it’s a fundamental human right that we should have that privacy but all too often, it is removed from us in some way or another. As it turns out, even the animals in the world love their privacy as you are about to see.

It took place in England at the Hawk Conservancy Trust, when they decided a hidden camera should be set up outside of the home where two burrowing owls lived. It was at their facility, and they were hoping that the owls wouldn’t recognize the fact that they were being watched. “My main goal was initially to secretly film them showing off natural behavior as a species that dig and build nests underground using their feet,” Tom Morath, a manager at the conservancy, told The Dodo. Everything was going fine at first but when the birds actually discovered the spy cam, they weren’t very happy about it.

Perhaps you can chalk it up to the wisdom of owls. Then again, you might just think that they are observing creatures and they couldn’t help but notice there was something out of the ordinary that just didn’t belong in their location. In either case, they weren’t looking very happy about the fact that they had an intruder in the area and they were about to exact their revenge for it.
