When it comes to birds, I think that most of us realize that they can be very amusing. Of course, anyone who has ever had a bird in their home as part of their family would readily admit that they can keep you chuckling. At the same time, however, even birds in the wild can put on quite a show and leave us feeling good on the inside. It doesn’t matter if you are talking about a wild bird from some distant corner of the Outback or a bird in your own backyard, they have something enjoyable to offer.
As you watch the music video below, you will see one of the more enjoyable birds and the funny thing is, it really isn’t a bird at all. It’s a pigeon that was animated by director Patrick Jean and this simple street pigeon is doing some amazing things when it comes to dancing to the music. The song that was chosen is by Emmett Fenn, ‘Who Dat’ and I don’t think they could have selected a more perfect musical accompaniment for an animated street bird. As you watch the bird strutting across the screen, you can’t help but feel good.
Perhaps the director said it best when he said: “Sometimes you just got to make a song about a pigeon. “Who Dat” OUT NOW!!!” But there is more to it. The song may be interesting and enjoyable, but it is the bird that brings the entire moment to life. Watch it for yourself in the following video:
