When an animal is born with a disability, they often have a difficult time in life. In the wild, they may struggle to even survive!
Something similar happens when a domesticated animal is born with a disability. If they don’t have a loving home to care for them, they often find themselves struggling to get adopted. They may end up in a shelter for the rest of their life.
Such was the case with Midas, a cat that was born with a rather unusual issue. We won’t call it a disability, because it certainly didn’t slow Midas down but it did stop her from finding a home for a while.
You see, Midas was born with 4 ears. Even though it doesn’t really impact her lifestyle or behavior, it did produce a rather unusual look. Fortunately, her hearing wasn’t impacted by it.
Midas was able to find a forever home with someone who instantly fell in love with her and her unusual looks. They are hoping that the interest they showed in Midas will help other people to have a different perspective when it comes to adopting an animal.
Along with having four ears, Midas also has a heart on her chest. It seems as if she has a lot going for her and now she even has her forever home.
