This Black Cat Keeps Staring At A Picture Of Her Son Until She Pieces Things Together

What is the first thing that comes your mind when you think of a cat? Some people may think of an independent animal but sometimes, they can be quite attached to their human partners. That was the case with this beautiful black cat named Yuuki. She was adopted from an animal shelter and she had spent quite some time waiting for someone to bring her to her new, forever home. That home came with a teenager named Max and his mother, Erin Nimrichter. They absolutely love their new feline friend.

When they brought Yuuki home, they felt that she was absolutely the best in the world. Many of us have perhaps experienced a similar feeling when we adopted an animal. We incorporate them into our lives and they become part of our family, often a much stronger part than some of the human relationships we may experience. Max and Yuuki were inseparable. They would often snuggle on the couch and fall fast asleep together.

It was a very long before Yuuki developed a very strong relationship with Max. You might even say that she was in love with her human, and that is the way his mother described it.

“Max has always felt connections to any animals he was around. He’s a sweetheart.”

Unfortunately, Max was shipped off to boot camp about six months after they adopted this feline. He is now serving with the U.S. Navy. It was hoped that Yuuki would connect with the mother more in his absence but, it seems that this feline was more in love with Max than anyone had anticipated.

Erin began seeing Yuuki sitting in front of a picture of Max, staring at him for hours on end. She thought that it was odd and perhaps even a fluke but when she moved the picture, Yuuki went to find it. This cat was totally devoted to Max and would hang out beside the picture, regardless of where it was.

“She just sits there, stares and meows and then lays down next to the picture to nap. I know for sure she misses him.”

Yuuki was finally able to reunite with Max face-to-face. They had a scheduled visit and they brought the cat along with them.

We have to admit that this is one of the sweetest animal stories we have ever heard. Max signed up for a six-year stint with the Navy but now, he will be reunited again with his beloved cat when his time is completed.
