When you think of the rock band Queen, what is the first thing that comes to your mind? If you’re like most people, you probably either think about the song, Bohemian Rhapsody or you think about Freddie Mercury. In either case, you are hitting on some of the highlights that the band has offered over the years. After all, Freddie Mercury was an absolute staple for the band when he was the frontman many years ago. He was also responsible for writing Bohemian Rhapsody, which is perhaps one of the most epic rock songs of all time. Unfortunately, Freddie Mercury died a number of years ago but the band continues to play.
Even though Freddie Mercury is no longer outfront singing and performing, it hasn’t stopped the band from maintaining their popularity. One of the ways that they did so was by assigning other singers to take the lead. These individuals aren’t there to replace Freddie Mercury or to try to imitate him, they are there to continue to carry on the legacy of the band. Adam Lambert was the latest singer to take the lead and most people consider him to be a very suitable replacement to stand out in front and sing.
