Do you remember the Osmond Family Singers? They were a huge group of siblings who made a lot of big hits back in the day. One of the brothers and one of the sisters broke out into their own duo and even had their own TV show: The Donny and Marie Show. Well, Donny Osmond married the love of his life, Debra Glenn, on May 8, 1978, in Salt Lake City in the beautiful Salt Lake Temple. Together, Donny and Debbie have five sons: Donald Jr, Jeremy James, Brandon Michael, Christopher Glenn, and Joshua Davis. Even more unbelievable (from someone who watched Donny and Marie), they are grandparents!
Donny and Debbie became grandparents for the first time in 2005 and they now have 10 grandchildren. Together with their kids and grandkids, these folks could make a whole new bunch of Osmond Family Singers. The members of the Osmond family, including Donny, are Mormons, belonging to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Donny has always been serious about his faith and never wavered from it, in spite of the many temptations that have crossed his path in his career. For several years, he and his sister had a show in Las Vegas, and Donny recently stunned a lot of folks when he shared that he had been tempted many times.
Donny says they call Vegas “Sin City” for a reason, but he’s never cheated on his wife because he respects her and loves her too much to do that. He says he would never do anything to hurt her. Donny and Debbie first met when Donny was only 15 years old and she was dating his older brother, Jay. He says that Debbie was the “hot babe cheerleader in town,” and he still considers her to be the love of his life. We agree with him that she’s still just as beautiful, and he says she’s still a “very hot babe.”
Like us, Donny can’t believe she’s a grandmother, and recently asked, “With the way she looks, who would ever believe that a woman that lovely is a grandmother eight times?” Below is a video that was made by fans and it has some footage of Donny and Debbie’s wedding in it.
