Although there are many singers and we may have a few that we enjoy listening to regularly, there are always going to be performers that stand head and shoulders above the rest. It often has to do with their unique performance, whether it is in their stage show or perhaps even their inability to dance. Every once in a while, however, we have a performer that is known for nothing more than their voice. When they sing, it’s almost as if you are hearing something that just shouldn’t be coming out of a human mouth. I’m sure that is how many people feel when they hear Josh Groban singing.
Josh Groban is more than a performer, he is somebody who feels every song that he performs. Regardless of whether you are hearing him on the radio or if you see him live, he puts everything that he has into his music. I would imagine everyone who was on hand for his performance in the video below was absolutely thrilled with what they were experiencing. When he came out on stage, it’s almost as if people knew that they were ready to experience something that was out of this world. Once he began singing, however, they realized that it was going to be something that was memorable for many years to come. After all, he was singing one of the most inspirational songs, “You Raise Me up” and he did it masterfully.
Music can move us in so many different ways and often, we turn to music when we are at our lowest point. If we are depressed, it can make us feel happier and if we are feeling lonely, it makes us feel as if we aren’t alone. This song is one of those that can make us feel good, so we might turn to it regularly.
