There are some singers who have been around for many years and they still perform to audiences that are absolutely thrilled to hear them singing. Other singers, on the other hand, have only been around for a few years or perhaps a decade or so. It doesn’t mean that they aren’t capable of singing songs just as masterfully, it’s just the fact that they don’t have all of the years of experience. It doesn’t stop them from doing some wonderful things, however, and I’m sure that is how you feel when you hear Kelly Clarkson singing. Sure, she’s only been around for a decade or so but in that time, she has done things that many singers could only dream of doing.
One of the things that Kelly Clarkson was able to do is to stand on stage and sing with a music legend. It was none other than Reba McIntyre, and the two of them got together on the Oprah show back in 2007. It was interesting to see the older musician, who really isn’t that old standing alongside a younger musician. Let’s just call them experienced and not so experienced. They each have a unique singing style but the two voices blended together to be something absolutely phenomenal. They sang “Because of You” and I think everybody in the audience was taken away with the power of the music.
When you have somebody like Reba McIntyre in front of you, regardless of whether you are a celebrity or not, you couldn’t help but feel a little impressed with the fact that you were with somebody so well known. Reba has been responsible for a lot of good country music, some fairly decent acting and there’s no doubt that her music will live on for many years.
Not only was Kelly Clarkson impressed with Reba McIntyre, it seems that the opposite was also true. You can watch them performing together and you will see that it was a definite match that is well worth hearing.
